The webinar called KNOWING THE CULTURE OF MEDIATION INTERNATIONALLY will take the preeminent speakers Professor Sukhsimranjit Singh (Professor and Managing Director of the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law), and Judge Doroteia Azevedo (Federal Judge at Labor and Employment Court of the 5th Circuit, LLM in Dispute Resolution with a concentration in Mediation at Pepperdine University). They will focus on “changing behavior and culture” from litigation and belligerence at courtrooms to the practice of the self-composition process as mediation, additionally about the changing of resistance from stakeholders, lawyers, and judges to this new scenario. As a conclusion of their own experiences, they will bring what must be done to build bridges and bring down walls for a desired future.
